Based in Mexico City. Originally from the US. Ten-plus years in e-commerce, the last seven building agencies and brands on Amazon and TikTok.
The Story
I started in e-commerce over a decade ago, and eventually built AMZ Commerce Advisers into one of the leading Amazon brand management agencies in the market. Today we manage 52+ brands, and the work is genuinely interesting — every client is a different product, market, and challenge.
But agencies have a ceiling. I realized the businesses we were helping grow were the ones creating lasting value. So I shifted focus toward acquiring and operating businesses directly — not just advising them.
Reach Social Commerce came from watching TikTok Shop explode in Asia and knowing it would do the same in North America. We got in early. ELEVAA came from seeing Latin America as one of the most underserved e-commerce markets globally.
Now I'm building a portfolio. The newsletter and this site are how I share what I'm learning along the way — for other operators who want the inside view, not the polished version.
